Often, bubbles will dissipate over time as the adhesive dries and puls the wallpaper tight to the wall. Wait a day or two after hanging to see if the bubbles disappear before jumping to a fix. If the bubbles remain, the good news is that there is a simple solution to remedy this problem and it can usually be done in less than 10 minutes.

Before starting, locate the areas that need repairing. Feel carefully to determine if the bubble is wet or dry. Bubbles can also be caused by loose dirt, paint, or other debris that can be removed in step 2.

Once opened, check for small paint chips or other small particles that may have caused the bubble then press all the air out of the space. If the bubble was caused by too much paste, squeeze out the excess and smooth down the repair. If the repair needs additional paste, move on to step 3.

The glue syringe is probably not in your tool kit but is available online and at most hardware stores and will make the application of the wallpaper adhesive neat and easy. My iPhone 11 Pro had the old Apple supplied Bubble Live wallpaper on the lock screen. It is the LIVE wallpaper that looked similar to the iPhone XS box top photo. I was curious to see what the new iOS 13 Live wallpaper looked like so I went into Settings -> Wallpaper and set one of the new wallpapers just to see what it looked like.

I wanted to go back to my Live Bubble wallpaper (that I think first appeared in iOS 12, but I am not sure about that) but iOS 13 Settings -> Wallpaper no longer has that wallpaper available in Settings -> Wallpaper -> Choose a new Wallpaper.

Yes, I see Dynamic, Stills and Live. I have searched all three and I do not find the Live Bubble wallpaper that first appeared in iOS 12 / iPhone XS (or was it iOS 11 / iPhone X?). Dynamic has 14 wallpapers, Live has 4 wallpapers and Stills has 22. I also have access to my Photos library.

Don't despair when blisters appear during wallpapering! These bubbles can have a number of reasons. Often, they are caused by surplus wallpaper paste or air bubbles under the paper, but you can usually get rid off them very easily.

Using inappropriate paste or the wrong mixing ratio of water and powder can lead to decreased adhesive strength and thus to potential blisters. Always apply the wallpaper paste evenly on paper-based wallpaper or (for non-woven varieties) to the wall. Be sure not to apply it too thickly or too thinly, as both will lead to decreased adhesion. As a result, blisters can appear in areas where too much paste was used, or areas which were too dry.

The way the wallpaper dries is also an important factor. A draft, temperatures that are too high or too low, or high humidity, can lead to blisters. Ideally, the room temperature should be between 10 and 16 degrees Celsius. Even if you don't have a hygrometer, high air humidity can be indicated by a damp, cool room climate. But constant ventilation (by opening windows and doors) is just as harmful as a draft. You should just open the windows at regular intervals, for about 10 minutes, so that the humid air can escape.

Individual bigger blisters can be dealt with by moving them to the side with a clean, dry, soft cloth, or clean fingers. Excessive amounts of paste that escape from the edges of the wallpaper can be removed with a slightly damp, clean cloth.

Using a wallpaper syringe (or a bottle of wallpaper paste with a pointed nozzle) you can remove blisters by applying paste underneath the bubble. Paste nozzles (or "syringes") are special wallpapering tools - they don't look much different from medical syringes, but they are not sterile. They are designed to easily apply the gel-like paste.

I brought peel n stick wallpaper from Etsy and it was fine at firs but now there's a bunch of bubbles on it. Is there a way to fix this? The wallpaper is on a wall that's over 200 inches wide so I really don't want to have to peel it off and reapply.

Given the high quality of our peel-and-stick wallpaper, which is made of textile material that breathes once applied to the wall, the formation of bubbles is highly unlikely, especially if our step-by-step installation instructions are followed. Peel-and-stick wallpaper can become bubbly, especially if you use vinyl-type self-adhesive wallpapers, which do not breathe, trapping every bit of air underneath the wallpaper during installation and be difficult for wood wallpaper to install perfectly and almost impossible to do so without bubbles. Paint, loose dirt, or other debris can also cause bubbles.

You may not have a glue syringe, but we strongly recommend purchasing one because it makes applying wallpaper adhesive simple and clean. Place the glue syringe in the opening and apply the wallpaper paste evenly over the entire area. It should be damp, not soaked. If you push the syringe past the opening, you may rip the wallpaper.

To remove bubbles from wallpaper, use a needle or pin to puncture the center of the bubble. Then, use a wallpaper smoothing tool or your fingers to gently press the air toward the hole and smooth out the wallpaper. Repeat this process for each bubble, working from the center of the wall towards the edges to avoid creating new bubbles. If the bubble is large, you may need to carefully remove the affected section of wallpaper and reapply it, making sure to smooth it out thoroughly to avoid future bubbles.
