This Privacy Policy explains how Bubble Level ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the App.
Bubble Level is a measurement utility that provides tools such as bubble leveling, inclinometer measurements, angle measurements, ruler functionality, and AR-based measurements.
The App does not require you to create an account and does not operate a developer-controlled server for storing your measurements, notes, projects, or calibration information.
The App may use third-party services, including Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), to provide advertising and manage advertising consent.
We do not directly collect or maintain personal information such as your name, email address, telephone number, account credentials, contacts, or precise location.
However, third-party advertising services integrated into the App may collect certain information from or about your device for purposes such as advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation.
The information handled by third-party services is described below.
The App stores certain information locally on your Android device to provide its features.
Depending on the features you use, this may include:
Saved measurement results
Measurement values and units
Measurement timestamps
Notes and project information
Checklist information
Calibration settings and offsets
App preferences such as units, theme, sound, vibration, and measurement tolerance
This information is stored locally by the App and is not transmitted by the App to a developer-controlled server.
If you delete saved information within the App, the corresponding local information is deleted.
Uninstalling the App generally removes its local application data from the device.
Android may provide backup functionality for application data depending on your device, Android version, and backup settings.
If Android backup is enabled, some locally stored App data may be included in your device backup and may be restored when you move to another Android device.
Such backup services are provided by Google and are subject to Google's own policies and settings. The developer does not receive a separate copy of your backed-up App data.
Bubble Level uses supported device motion sensors, such as the accelerometer and rotation-vector sensor, to calculate measurements including:
Tilt
Level
Inclination
Pitch
Roll
Angle
Sensor readings are processed for the measurement functionality.
The App does not intentionally upload these sensor readings to a developer-controlled server.
Certain measurement features may use the device camera and Google ARCore.
Camera access is requested only when a feature requiring the camera is opened.
The camera may be used to detect surfaces and environmental information required for AR-based measurement.
The App does not intentionally save photographs or videos captured for the AR measurement feature to the developer's servers.
Camera access is not required for the basic sensor-based leveling features.
If you deny camera permission, the camera-dependent AR features will not be available, while other features that do not require the camera can continue to function.
AR-based measurements are estimates and may be affected by device hardware, lighting, surface conditions, tracking quality, and calibration.
The free version of Bubble Level may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
AdMob is a third-party advertising service operated by Google.
Depending on applicable laws, your location, your device settings, and your consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
Advertising or app-related identifiers
IP address
Device information
Device and operating system information
Approximate location derived from network information
Advertising and interaction information
Information about ad impressions and interactions
Information necessary for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and security
The exact information processed by Google may vary depending on the advertising request, your consent choices, regional requirements, and Google's current services.
We do not provide Google with your saved measurements, notes, projects, calibration values, or sensor readings for advertising purposes.
Advertising data is handled by Google under Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.
Where required by applicable privacy laws, Bubble Level uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present an advertising consent message.
For users in regions where consent is required, the App provides appropriate choices regarding personalized advertising and other applicable advertising options.
Your advertising choices may affect the type of advertising that can be shown.
Where supported by the App, you can review or change your advertising privacy choices through the App's advertising/privacy settings.
Google may also provide controls through Android or Google services for managing advertising preferences.
The App may use the following third-party services:
Used to display advertisements and provide advertising-related services.
Used to manage consent and privacy choices related to advertising where applicable.
Used by supported AR measurement features to provide augmented-reality functionality and environmental tracking.
These third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
The developer does not control the information processing practices of these third-party services.
The App does not intentionally include a separate analytics service such as Google Analytics for Firebase unless explicitly stated in a future version of this Privacy Policy.
If analytics or another data-collecting service is added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when that functionality is introduced.
Bubble Level may request the following permissions depending on the features included in the installed version:
Used primarily to communicate with advertising services and load advertisements.
Used only for measurement features that require camera/AR functionality.
The App does not require access to:
Contacts
Phone calls
SMS
Microphone
Precise location
Calendar
Photos or videos for general use
Files for general measurement functionality
If a future version introduces a feature requiring an additional permission, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
The developer does not sell your personal information.
The App's locally stored measurements, notes, projects, and calibration information are not shared with the developer for advertising or analytics purposes.
Third-party services such as Google AdMob may receive information required to provide advertising and related services.
The App does not intentionally send your saved measurement history, notes, projects, or sensor measurements to advertising providers.
We take reasonable measures to avoid unnecessary collection and transmission of information.
Because your measurement history, notes, projects, and calibration information are stored locally, you should protect access to your Android device using appropriate device security measures.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The developer does not maintain a developer-controlled database containing your measurements, notes, projects, or calibration information.
You can delete locally stored information through the App's available delete or clear functions.
You can also remove the App and its associated local application data by uninstalling it from your device.
Information processed independently by third-party services, such as advertising information handled by Google, is subject to those services' own retention and deletion practices.
Bubble Level is a general-purpose utility application and is not specifically designed or marketed to children.
The App does not knowingly request personal information directly from children.
If your app's target audience includes children, additional Google Play Families requirements may apply, particularly when advertising is used. Google Play requires appropriate handling of advertising and data practices for apps targeting children.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding personal information processed by third-party services.
Because the developer does not maintain an account or a developer-controlled database containing your measurement history, there is generally no developer account data to access or modify.
You can:
Delete your locally saved measurements
Delete projects and notes
Reset App settings
Uninstall the App
Manage applicable Android advertising settings
Review or change available advertising consent choices in the App
For information processed by Google through advertising services, please refer to Google's applicable privacy documentation.
Bubble Level may be used by people around the world.
Third-party services used by the App, including Google services, may process information in countries other than your country of residence.
Such processing is subject to the applicable privacy practices and safeguards of those service providers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or our data practices.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
You should periodically review this page for the latest version.

Important: This Privacy Policy describes the App's practices as currently implemented. If the App later adds services such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, authentication, cloud synchronization, additional advertising SDKs, location services, or other data-processing functionality, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration should be reviewed and updated accordingly.
