In Hell Followed With Us, the story follows Benji, a sixteen-year-old trans boy fleeing from a fundamentalist cult that unleashed the apocalypse through a deadly plague. Infected with a monstrous bioweapon that is slowly transforming him into something inhuman, Benji is desperate to survive—and to escape the cult that wants to use his body as their ultimate weapon.

When he finds refuge with a group of queer teens resisting the new world order, he must decide if he can trust them with his secret, even as the infection inside him grows stronger. With time running out and his humanity at stake, Benji battles not only for survival but for a future where he can live—and love—on his own terms.
