In Dynamite’s ThunderCats, the reimagined story follows Lion-O, heir to the fallen kingdom of Thundera, who flees with his people after their world is destroyed. Stranded on the mysterious Third Earth, Lion-O struggles with his youth and inexperience while inheriting the Sword of Omens, a legendary weapon tied to the fate of his species.
As the ThunderCats attempt to rebuild their lives, they are hunted by Mumm-Ra, an immortal sorcerer who will stop at nothing to claim the Sword’s power. With allies tested, ancient secrets unearthed, and enemies pressing in, Lion-O must confront not only the dangers around him—but the doubts within—as the survival of his people hangs in the balance.
