Ride Your Wave follows Hinako, an optimistic college student who moves to a seaside town and falls in love with Minato, a kind-hearted firefighter who shares her passion for surfing. When tragedy strikes, Hinako discovers she can see Minato’s spirit whenever she sings their favorite song near water. As she clings to this fragile connection, she must learn to face her grief and find the strength to move forward on her own. Tender and bittersweet, the film explores love, loss, and the courage it takes to keep living after heartbreak.
