Mulan follows follows Mulan, a brave and independent young woman who struggles to fit into the traditional expectations placed upon her. When her aging father is called to serve in the army during a time of invasion, she secretly takes his place—disguising herself as a man—to protect her family.

With the help of a small, wisecracking dragon companion and newfound friends in the military camp, Mulan embarks on a journey of self-discovery, courage, and honor. Along the way, she learns what it truly means to be strong—both for her family and for herself.
