Flyinghorse 2023
FlyingHorse 2023 was a huge success! 200 student performers, 1000 attendees, and we surpassed our fundraising goal! This year’s show featured high-flying aerial silks and multiple student-arranged compositions, including a full orchestral-choral arrangement of Me and Your Mama by Childish Gambino.

Alum Felicia Jordan at Kinfolk House
The historic Kinfolk House in Fort Worth recently launched their newest project, Echoes of Our Ancestors, featuring work by Felicia Jordan and 2 other visual artists.
Her works will be on display at 1913 Wallace Street in Fort Worth through August 5th, with a closing reception at 2 PM that final day.

Faculty Retirements
Spring 2023 will be the last semester for Mary D’Avignon (Costume & Set Design teacher) and Cathy Vernon (Campus Coordinator), who have been with the school since 1986 and 2008, respectively. Their immense dedication to the students has not gone unnoticed, and they will truly be missed. Booker T. sends them love and well wishes for their next chapters.
