AddonBox ("the app") is developed by BTS ("we", "us"). This policy
explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it.
WHAT THE APP DOES NOT DO
The app has no sign-up, no login and no user profile. We never ask for your
name, email address, phone number, postal address or payment details, and we
have no way to receive them. We do not read your files, contacts, photos,
messages, microphone or camera, and we do not track your location.
WHAT IS COLLECTED
The app browses a catalogue of Minecraft Bedrock add-ons and lets you download
them. To do that, and to keep the app free, three services run inside it:
1. Google AdMob shows the advertising in the app. AdMob receives your device's
advertising identifier, IP address, general device information (model,
operating system version, language, coarse region derived from the IP) and
the fact that an ad was shown, viewed or tapped. It uses this to select and
measure ads and to detect fraud.
2. Google Analytics for Firebase records anonymous usage events — screens
opened, a category browsed, a download started or finished — together with a
randomly generated app instance identifier, device model and operating system
version. We use it to see which parts of the catalogue people actually use.
3. Firebase Crashlytics records diagnostic information when the app crashes:
the state of the code at that moment, device model, operating system version
and the time of the crash. We use it only to fix the crash.
The catalogue itself is requested from our own server. That request carries your
IP address, as any internet request does, and it is written to the standard
server access log, which we keep for a limited period to keep the service
running and to detect abuse.
WHAT IS NOT SENT ANYWHERE
Files you download stay on your device. The list of what you downloaded is
stored locally on the device and is never uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes
it.
ADVERTISING AND YOUR CHOICES
You can reset or delete the advertising identifier at any time in your device
settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, the exact path depends on the Android
version). Deleting it stops advertising personalisation across all apps on the
device.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the
app asks for your consent before any advertising service starts, using Google's
consent management platform. You can change or withdraw that choice later from
the privacy option inside the app; withdrawal takes effect immediately and the
app keeps working, with non-personalised advertising instead.
CHILDREN
The app is not directed to children under 13 and is not listed in the Play
Store's family programme. We do not knowingly collect data from children under
13. If you believe a child has used the app and you want the associated data
removed, write to zakorkelzaveta@gmail.com and we will act on it.

YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data relates to
you, to have it deleted, or to object to its processing. Because the app holds
no account and no directly identifying data, the practical route is: reset the
advertising identifier on the device, withdraw consent inside the app, and
uninstall the app. For anything beyond that, write to zakorkelzaveta@gmail.com and we
will respond within 30 days.
DATA RETENTION
We hold no personal account data. Analytics and crash data are retained by
Google under the retention settings of the Firebase project (currently the
default period) and are deleted afterwards. Server access logs are rotated and
deleted on a rolling basis.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If the app starts collecting something different, this page changes and the
"Last updated" date at the top changes with it. Continued use of the app after
that date means the updated policy applies.
