Blockchain Technology for IoE: Security and Privacy Perspective
(An Edited Book Under CRC Book Series - Computational Intelligence Techniques )
Aim and Scope of the Book
The Internet of Everything (IoE) is a multi-domain environment. IoE contain a huge number of devices and services integrated for exchange of information. The security areas of IoE include user privacy, data protection, authentication, identity management, trust management and policy integration, authorization, access control, end-to-end security, availability, and resistance against dynamic attacks. Blockchain Technology has been proven to be very successful in securing this kind of environment with increased trust and transparency. This book aims to explore new frontiers, opportunities, and challenges in the field of IoE security and privacy under the umbrella of distributed ledger technologies and blockchain technology, at the same time also including the mentioned distributed consensus mechanisms, crypto-sensors, encryption algorithms, fault tolerance mechanisms for devices and systems in IoE, etc. This book tends to focus on the primary fundamentals of the applicability of Blockchain Technology in securing IoE environments like architectures and platforms for blockchain and IoE, authentication and encryption algorithms for IoE, IoE malicious transactions detection, Blockchain for forensics in IoE, crypto-elements for the security in IoE, fog/edge computing and sidechains for IoE security, and Blockchain for forensics in IoE.
