The Bellevue School District Strategic Plan will bring cohesion to the efforts of our entire community, aligning us toward strengthening our investment in our students’ success. It takes all of us—staff, families, and the community—working together to exceed expectations and continue to earn our place as a national model of educational excellence that meets the needs of every student academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a learning community that values one another’s humanity, we provide courageous support for an equitable and exceptional education for all students.
VISION
To affirm and inspire each and every student to learn and thrive as creators of their future world.

2023 Strategic Plan Goals
Affirm and Inspire: Students feel safe, affirmed, and inspired to achieve high levels of social-emotional well-being regardless of background.
Learn and Thrive: Students achieve high levels of academic success and outcomes are not predicted by race or income.
Creators of Their Future World: Students effectively problem solve and lead for positive local and global change by developing global awareness and cultural competency, and learn advanced skills in processing and applying information through the effective use of technology and engineering.
Exceptional Staff: To improve student well-being and academic achievement in our district, we develop a culture that attracts, engages, and retains exceptional educators who are reflective of and responsive to the diversity of Bellevue School District students.
Family and Community Engagement: Families, particularly those who have been traditionally marginalized, are more informed, better able to find support, and are more empowered to contribute to student success.
