There was plenty of snow for the annual running of the Klondike Derby. Our Troop entered two patrols into the competition, the Lumberjacks (formerly known as Crows) and Cobras. The Frontier District had an excellent turn out for the event with 21 patrols from various troops competing. The scouts navigated their sleds from station to station. At each station they were challenged to complete a particular task using scout skills. Each station was graded to determine the top three patrols in the competition. This year the Lumberjacks placed 7th and the Cobras 9th. Confronting the elements were Alex, David, Jared, Joey J., Joey P., Justin, Kyle K., Kyle S., Kyle T., Matt, Philip, Ryan, Mr. Makowski, Mr. See, Mr. Svihlik, and Mr. Ulintz.
