LATROBE, PA
Scouting America Troop 305 proudly serves the Latrobe–Derry area as a Family Scouting unit, welcoming boys and girls ages 11–17 who are ready for adventure, leadership, and lifelong friendships.
We meet every Tuesday from 6:00–8:00 PM at the
Kingston Veterans and Sportsman Club
📍 138 Kingston Club Road, Latrobe, PA 15650
Troop 305 is a Scout-led troop where youth learn by doing. Scouts plan activities, lead meetings, and make decisions—with guidance from trained adult leaders who support growth, safety, and success.
As a Family Unit, we believe Scouting is strongest when families are involved. Parents are encouraged to participate, volunteer, and be part of the Scouting journey alongside their Scouts.
Scouting in Troop 305 is hands-on, active, and fun. Our program includes:
🏕️ Monthly campouts and outdoor adventures
🧭 Leadership development and teamwork
🏅 Advancement opportunities from Scout through Eagle
🤝 Community service projects that give back locally
🇺🇸 Citizenship, character, and responsibility training
🧑🤝🧑 High-adventure preparation and special events
From local campouts and service projects to council events and special trips, our Scouts are always learning, exploring, and growing.
