Welcome to Troop1260B/G! Troop 1260G (founded in 2020) and 1260B (founded in 2012) are chartered by St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Frisco, Texas. We provide the full Scouting experience while maintaining a smaller sized group in comparison to other Troops you might find in our area. We like the personal attention that we can give to each individual Scout.
T1260 B&G weekly meetings are traditionally held at St. Philip's located at 6400 Stonebrook Parkway in Frisco. Meetings are held every Sunday from 3:00-4:30pm, except for campout weekends (in which we do not meet that same weekend).
Troop 1260 is youth-led, youth-run program. The Scouts are guided to develop important leadership skills, while growing into responsible young men and women. They are empowered to be the leaders of our Troop, to give it's own direction and life, while educated and guided by our adult leaders.
We do much more than just having weekly Troop meetings. Troop 1260 schedules monthly campouts, with various outdoor activities. Each Scout gets to practice the skills he is learning in an active and fun environment.
Scouts BSA is about educating and growing youth to meet their individual potential to its fullest. Troop 1260 is dedicated to guiding each Scout to get the most of his experience, through the Trail to First Class onward to achieving Eagle and beyond. We want each Scout's leadership experiences and skills gained during their time in our Troop to empower them for future achievements and success!
Please contact us to learn more...we would love to have interested Scouts attend one of our Troop meetings and meet our Scouts, maybe even join us for a campout!
