蓮花佛寺概况：

       The Maitreya  Buddhist Temple in upstate New York was founded by the Buddhist Synchronicity Association, a non-profit religious organization registered with the New York State government. (The old temple was burned down in an accidental fire on January 18, 2020. We are now planning to rebuild it. We hope that kind-hearted people and great people in society will donate money to repair the temple. If you are compassionate, you will be blessed.)

       The secret meaning of Maitreya  Buddhist Temple: Stay in the true self, cultivate the supreme Vajra body, always maintain the heart of Prajna, and achieve Mahayana Zen.

    The purpose of Maitreya  Buddhist Temple is to take the "Six Harmonies" of compassion as its foundation (harmony of views, harmony of precepts, harmony of body, harmony of speech, harmony of mind, harmony of benefits and equality); unity of knowledge and action as its principle; self-salvation and salvation of others as its Dharma; continuing the unfinished deeds of past Buddhas and receiving the infinite good karma of future Buddhas.

       2,500 years ago, when Buddha Shakyamuni was alive, Lord Brahma led several of his followers to offer golden Paramita flowers. After they bowed to the Buddha's feet, they withdrew and sat to one side. At this moment, Sakyamuni Buddha picked up the golden lotus, blinked and raised his eyebrows, showing it to the crowd, who were silent and at a loss. Only Venerable Kasyapa broke into a smile. One is the Buddha who picks up a flower, and the other is Venerable Kashyapa who smiles knowingly. Through their mind-to-mind communication, both of them fully understand the Zen principles. Although those who can understand Zen principles are rare in history, it does not mean that sentient beings cannot achieve success. As long as they follow the teachings, delve deeply into one thing, open up many doors to goodness, and increase their wisdom, one day sentient beings will surely become the future Maitreya Bodhisattva.

       美國紐約上州蓮花佛寺，是在美國紐約州政府註冊的宗教性質的非謀利組織機構佛緣同步會所創辦的。(舊寺院於2020年1月18日意外的火災中被燒毀，現準備計畫重建，希望有心之善長仁翁和社會大德捐資修廟，發心慈悲必福有由歸）

       蓮花佛寺密意：安住真實本相，修無上金剛之身，恆持般若之心，成就大乘之禪。

       蓮花佛寺宗旨以"六和敬"慈悲為本（見和同解、戒和同修、身和同住、口和同淨、意和同悅、利和同均）；知行合一實證為則；自渡而渡他般若為法；繼已往佛陀未竟之業，接未來佛陀之無量善緣。

        在2500年前，佛陀釋迦摩尼住世，尔時大梵天王引若干眷屬來奉獻金婆羅華（華同花之意），各頂禮佛足後退坐一面。此刻，釋迦摩尼佛即捻起金婆羅華，瞬目揚眉，示諸大眾，大眾默然無措。唯有迦葉尊者破顏微笑。一是拈花佛陀，一是會心微笑的迦葉尊者，以心印心，俱徹悟禪理。雖然能明禪理者在歷史上鳳毛麟角，但不代表眾生不能成就，只要依教奉行，一門深入，廣開善門，增長智慧，終有一天眾生必定是未來的彌勒菩薩。
