The growing number of passengers that check in online for a Brussels Airlines flight can now not only select their plane seat and save time at the airport, but they are also invited to select a newspaper, for which they will receive an access code.

At this stage, the free e-paper service does not entail that Brussels Airlines will not distribute newspapers to b.business or b.flex economy+ passengers anymore, although it is expected that the number of paper newspapers on board the nearly 300 daily Brussels Airlines flights, will drop significantly. That's a good thing for the environment thanks to both the paper saving and the weight reduction of the planes.

The dispute was resolved late Friday, the Belgian newspaper Le Soir reports. New security measures include a check on cars and passengers on the access road to the airport terminal. Police will also carry out document and security checks at a temporary departure hall, the newspaper said.

A Brussels Airlines flight from Madrid to Brussels experienced a malfunction with the air conditioning system, causing passengers to sweat profusely and one person to faint while the plane was still on the ground, according to the Belgian newspaper HLN.


The newspaper Le Soir reported that he is believed to be the third attacker at the airport, who has been on the run. The suspect was identified by a taxi driver who drove the attackers to the airport, the newspaper reported.

This will be especially useful as more publishers begin to cut the number of days they print a newspaper. With fewer print newspapers to sell, this will help speed up the process of single-copy newspapers disappearing from the public space. Instead, publishers will need to think about how they can encourage occasional readers to buy a single digital copy of the newspaper when they want to read the full edition. Today, many publishers still view their ePaper as something only for subscribers, meaning that occasional readers do not have the ability to discover what the ePaper is all about.

Gilkinet said the rules were incomprehensible from an economic and ecological point of view - and the threshold for keeping these sought-after slots should be further reduced to give airlines more flexibility.

"Due to the weak demand in January, we would have reduced significantly more flights," Lufthansa Group CEO Carsten Spohr told a German newspaper in late December. "But we have to make 18,000 additional, unnecessary flights in winter just to secure our take-off-and-landing rights."


He added: "While climate-friendly exemptions were found in almost all other parts of the world during the time of the pandemic, the EU does not allow this in the same way. That harms the climate and is exactly the opposite of what the EU Commission wants to achieve with its 'Fit for 55' program."

PLEASE help, do you think that whatever needs to be ironed out with paperwork of disintergration of airlines would cancel this flight july 23 2019????

Can anyone advise me if i purchase this flight via ASAP site if my flight could be cancelled? Responses before midnight tonight would be appreciated as my good fare will be lost. i fly to Germany to get married just 2 weeks after and it would be a disaster or at least extremely costly if i had to find some other flight days before my wedding.
