Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) is a two-year college located in Athens, Texas. TVCC is best known for its sports programs, which is what drew Bronson McClelland to their football field in the first place! The majority of the Community College’s athletic programs currently compete in Division 1 of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Sports included at this level are the men’s and women’s basketball, softball, volleyball and soccer teams.

In recent years, Bronson McClelland has found inspiration in the Human Motivation Theory. The concept was initially presented by Abraham Maslow in his 1943 book A Theory of Human Motivation and developed on by David McClelland in his 1961 book The Achieving Society. The theory states that we all have three motivators: a need for achievement, affiliation and power. Over the years, McClelland has delved deeper into this concept and regularly utilizes its framework to guide his growth and development as an athlete.
