Hi, I'm Carol and, along with my Strictly partner Steve, I am aiming to raise funds for the wonderful Saint Francis Hospice by taking part as a ballroom dance competitor in Strictly Saint Francis. In my life I have never asked for sponsorship and never had the courage and self-confidence to do anything like this, let alone compete in front of a live audience. However, I'm pushing my fears aside as life is for living while I'm still fit and healthy enough and I am passionate about dancing, so what better way could there be to raise funds for Saint Francis Hospice? They provide amazing nursing and caring support to patients and their loved ones at the time when they need it most with palliative and end of life care. Two good friends of mine, Pat and Justyna, were both cared for at the Hospice, so I personally know how immeasurable the care and support given is.
So get ready for a fab-u-lous night of dance, glitz, and glamour at Strictly Saint Francis! For one unforgettable evening, professional dancers will team up with 8 of us enthusiastic supporters to compete for the Glitter Ball Trophy!
Most importantly, every step danced and every pound raised will help fund the vital care provided by Saint Francis Hospice.
Saint Francis Hospice specialises in providing care for any person, from any faith or cultural background, who has been diagnosed with a serious illness who lives in Havering, Brentwood, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge or West Essex.
I would be grateful for anything you can afford to give to help me reach my target to support our local community hospice. Thank you so much for reading this and your interest in helping this truly worthwhile cause ❤️

I just want to thank all you lovely people who have donated so far. I have been bowled over by the kindness and generosity shown to me for the good of the hospice. It has been very emotional. Dread to think what I'll be like on the night! 🥲 Thank you everyone, including my anonymous donators, who I have not been able to thank personally. Thank you ♥️
