Short Bio:

Brijesh is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the broad areas of Machine learning for wireless communications at Boston College. Prior to that he was affiliated as an adjunct faculty at School of Engineering and Applied Science, and School of Arts & Sciences, Ahmedabad University.

He obtained his PhD in the area of "Applied Machine Learning for Smart Sensing in Cognitive Radio Networks" under the supervision of Dr. Dhaval Patel in July 2021 from Ahmedabad University. He received Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electronics Engineering from Birla Vishavakarma Mahavidyalaya (BVM), Anand, and Master of Electronics (M.E) in Communication Systems Engineering from L.D college of Engineering, Ahmedabad, both with Distinction, in 2014 and 2017 respectively. He was the recipient of graduate aptitude test in engineering (GATE) Scholarship for pursuing post-graduation (2015-2017) by AICTE, Govt. of India. Furthermore, he has also qualified the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) for Assistant Professor under Electronic Science category in the first attempt. From 2017-2020, he worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at School of Engineering and Applied Science, Ahmedabad University in collaboration with University of Liverpool, U.K for DST - UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) research project jointly funded by DST and British Council. 

Currently, he also serves as a a reviewer in technical journals like IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Communications, IET Electronics Letters and Physical Communications. His research interests include Dynamic spectrum access, Applied Machine learning/Deep learning/Reinforcement learning/Federated learning for xG wireless networks, Non-orthogonal multiple access techniques, Physical Layer Security, Molecular Communications and Speech Enhancement.
