OhmStudio ("the App") is developed and maintained by Bright Engineering Concern. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles user information. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and OhmStudio has been built from the ground up to work 100% offline.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
OhmStudio does not require an internet connection to function and does not request the internet/network permission on your device. Specifically, the App does not:
Collect personal information (name, email, phone number, location, etc.)
Use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
Display ads of any kind
Connect to any server, backend, or third-party API
Share any data with third parties, because no data ever leaves your device
The App allows you to save Ohm's Law calculation history (voltage, current, resistance, and power values) for your own reference. This data is:
Stored only on your device, using local on-device storage (SharedPreferences)
Never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere
Fully under your control — you can clear this history at any time from the App's Settings screen
OhmStudio does not request the Internet permission or any other sensitive device permissions (camera, contacts, location, microphone, storage access beyond the App's own local data, etc.).
Since OhmStudio collects no personal data whatsoever, it is safe for use by users of all ages, including children, in compliance with applicable regulations such as COPPA.
Because all data generated by the App stays on your device and is never transmitted externally, there is no risk of your calculation history being intercepted, leaked, or accessed by us or any third party.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or for legal/regulatory reasons. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
