Tightrope
You said you got
"Tough news"
Now I sit and spin and spin
And spin
And spin
You cut off stories,
Cut off words,
Censor yourself
Filters are
Not your standard
In a tailspin,
Trailing off,
Failing,
Falling away,
Tethered and taught.
