A Quaint Little Poem About Autumn
Brilliant hues fill the sky,
As maroons and oranges tint every leaf,
Declaring that autumn has come.
Every step provokes a satisfying crunch,Â
Earsplitting yet subtle in the quiet woods.
A cool wind brushes my cheeks,
And ruffles my hair endearingly,
A fall greeting that etches a smile into my face.
I settle into my cozy sweatshirt,
The one that hugs me lovingly every day.
As I listen to the symphony of the season,
Feel the crispness I cherish,
I know that fall has finally begun.
