Meet Clay Zambo

Clay Zambo, Music Director/Composer "The Emperor's New Clothes"

Clay’s writing has been produced in New York, London, and elsewhere, including "Windjammers," "Greenbrier Ghost," "Lost in Staten Island," "Shlemiel Crooks," the BTC Playathons and "CJ: the Musical," and earned him BMI’s Harrington Award for Creative Achievement. A faculty member at the University of Hartford/Hartt School, Clay has been part of the BTC family since 2011, supervising music for "Amadeus," "A Chorus Line," "Evita," "Fiddler on the Roof," "Thoroughly Modern Millie," "next to normal," and "The Music Man"—and where, during intermission of "A Few Good Men," Melissa proposed to him. Now a very happy newlywed, Clay is also a pretty good cook, a lover of TV game shows, and a runner. clayzambo.com
