By 5:00, dozens of Juniors and Seniors had gathered in the Brickyard for the MAMS Fall Festival. Tables lined the sides of the room with pumpkins, paint, puzzles, and snacks spread across them. After taking their pick of the snacks, the students enjoyed the many activities available.
One of the highlights for many students was pumpkin painting. Working in groups or alone, students mixed paints and had fun painting anything of their choosing. Many students attempted to paint pumpkins with portraits of each other. At the same time, a movie was projected, and students enjoyed pizza and donuts!
At the same time, other students decided to work together on a 500-piece puzzle. Students started at the beginning of the party, and different students dropped in to contribute throughout the night. The puzzle was finished right at the end of the festival.
While some students were painting pumpkins and making puzzles, another group headed to the library to play poker and other card games. Live entertainment was also provided.
By 8:00, students were on their way home to rest and prepare for the final week of school before the end of the term!
