Brian Zhu is a final-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University in the City of New York, advised by Professor Agostino Capponi.
His research lies at the intersection of decentralized finance, financial technology, and market microstructure; current interests focus on automated market making, prediction markets, and agentic AI for decentralized finance.
Brian's research has been presented and published at top conferences in finance, economics, and computer science. He has also collaborated with leading industry research teams on digital asset market analysis and blockchain protocol design.
Prior to Columbia, Brian received his B.S. in Economics and Mathematics in 2022 from Yale University.
