Brian Zi Qi Zhu

I am a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University in the City of New York, where I am fortunate to be advised by Professor Agostino Capponi. 

My research interests lie in the intersection of decentralized finance, financial technology, and market microstructure. My current work focuses on automated market making and digital payment systems.

I received my B.S. in Economics and Mathematics in 2022 from Yale, where I was advised on my bachelor's thesis by Professor Xiaohong Chen.
