Welcome! I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Syracuse University. My field of study, transfer pricing and corporate tax avoidance, stands at the intersection of International Trade and Public Economics. Nearly half of all international trade occurs within the same corporate group; this creates incentives for corporations to attempt to avoid taxation through strategic pricing between affiliates; a pattern that has held constant since at least 2004.
