I am a Senior Economist at the National Bank of Slovakia. In addition, I teach Microeconomics and Public Finance at the Department of Public Policy of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia.


My research has been covered by Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Brookings and Seeking Alpha. I have been appointed a Fellow of the Central European Labour Studies Institute (CELSI) think tank in 2017.


I am a laureate of the Martin Filko prize, awarded by the Slovak Economic Association in 2020, for an outstanding contribution to economics and evidence based public policy in Slovakia.


My previous affiliations are Centre for European Policy Studies and Central European University.

I received my PhD in Economics from the CentER Graduate School for Economics and Business of the Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
