Firstly, I have had a few inquiries lately about compatibility with the version of ANA2 available from Slate Digital. While the factory library was supported the additional 17 expansions from SD were not available. I have now generated an NKS library for the Slate Digital version which you can get from the above link.

This release covers factory presets for all 20 instruments in the Legendary series (including Sound Canvas) as either a full bundle or separate instruments. All libraries contain full mapping, sound previews, artwork etc and should allow loading and browsing of all instruments in this series. Expansion content will also be available at a later date.

To update your libraries you will need to go to the above links (or the product pages) and there is a small upgrade cost for the main factory libraries but all expansion libraries (such as Bob Moog, Sonic Extensions and eventually 3rd party libraries) are all free updates. All you need to do is delete your existing NKS library and replace it with the new one. It should load and behave the same but should load the VST3 plugin. Looking for feedback from M1 users to confirm all is good.

THE LIBRARYThe included MASCHINE software comes loaded with an 8 GB sound library, created by renowned sound designers and artists. 8627 samples, 445 full drum kits, 388 multi-sampled instruments, 403 sliced loops, 1200 patterns, and 38 projects, plus five outstanding drum synths. A sonic palette as vast as your imagination.

A free version is offered for all plugins so you can download and test how it will work before making a payment for the full library. If you have any issues with artwork or the presets working within komplete or maschine please make sure you get this sorted before donating.

If you run Komplete Kontrol in native Apple Silicon mode you will now lose the ability for Komplete Kontrol to host VST2 plugins. Some plugin developers have updated their VST3 plugins to load from a call to a VST2 plugin (so some work) but in our tests, 95%+ plugins will not load without the NKS library being updated. It is suggested to run your DAW in Rosetta compatibility mode for the moment.

As soon as I can but there is the chance that some of your instruments will never have a working VST3 version or an updated NKS library. There is simply nothing that can be done to speed this up so either work in compatibility mode, drop and forget the things that are not working for you, switch to Windows or simply have some patience.
