Team Membership Requirements

• Applicants must consent to having a background check, filling out a written questionnaire, and attending an in person interview before being considered for team membership.

To Be Considered, Applicants Must

• Be available for investigations, meetings and events as necessary, including all of southeast WI on a regular basis, and occasionally further from home, with reasonable notice. We generally try to schedule investigations on Friday or Saturday nights, but on rare occasions during the week may be the only option for a client.
• Have reliable transportation to and from investigations, team meetings and other events, including all of southeast WI on a regular basis, and occasionally further from home, with reasonable notice.
• Have a Facebook profile and be able to use it to communicate with other team members on a regular basis.
• Be able to perform any type of evidence review, as needed, in a timely manner. This includes but is not limited to having computer access, even if not physically present on an investigation.
• Be able to work within the BCP team in a respectful manner.
• Be respectful of all clients and team members with different views or opinions from your own.
• Be able to use the equipment and be available for training in how to use equipment.
• Act in a professional and respectful manner, especially when facing criticism or skepticism.
• Act in accordance with team directives and policies working toward the safety and trust of all members and clients.
• Be free from the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Additionally, Applicants Should

• Have a desire to learn about the investigative techniques used by BCP and be able to use those techniques in an investigative situation.
• Be open and available to discussion within the team about paranormal concepts and theories.
• Be compassionate, respectful and understanding of the client’s needs and wants from BCP.

We Prefer Applicants Who

• Are at least 18 years old, but preferably 21.
• Have a sense of humor.
• Are able to have a level of skepticism without crossing the line into cynicism.
