Breeze Airways, the airline founded on offering "Nice, Nicer, and Nicest" experiences, has a highly digital and flexible approach to flight changes. Their policy is one of the most traveler-friendly in the industry, focused on self-service and eliminating traditional change fees.
If your plans need adjusting, the good news is that for most fare types, you can change your flight date or time easily, often without needing to speak to an agent. However, what you pay will depend on the current fare price and, critically, the type of ticket you initially booked.
This guide will walk you through the specifics of the Breeze Airways Change Flight policy, ensuring you know your rights and the simplest way to modify your trip.
The most important feature of the Breeze Airways Change Flight policy is its simplicity regarding fees: Breeze Airways never charges a separate fee to change a flight.
This applies to all their main fare bundles: Nice, Nicer, and Nicest.
However, while there is no administrative fee, you must still adhere to one key rule:
You must pay the difference in airfare if the new flight you select is more expensive than your original flight. If the new flight is cheaper, the difference is issued back to you as a Flight Credit.
The one major exception to the flexible change policy is the No Flex Fare.
No Flex Fare: Voluntary changes are NOT permitted. If you need to change your trip, your only option is to cancel the reservation entirely (for a partial credit based on how far out you cancel) and then rebook a completely new flight at the current price.
Breeze is designed for self-service, making the online process the fastest way to utilize the Breeze Airways Change Flight policy.
Log into Your Account: Go to FlyBreeze.com or open the Breeze app and log into the Breezy Rewards® Account used to book the reservation. Changes and cancellations can only be made when logged into this account.
Navigate to "My Trips": This section lists all your upcoming flights.
Select the Change Option: Find the flight you need to modify and select "Change Trip."
Choose Segments: Select whether you want to change the outbound flight, the return flight, or both.
Select New Date/Time: Use the calendar tool to choose your new flight date and time.
Review and Pay: The system will display the full price breakdown, including the cost of the new fare and any difference you owe.
Finalize: If you owe money, you can choose to pay with a credit card or available BreezePoints. If the new fare is cheaper, the difference will be applied as a Flight Credit to your Breezy Rewards® Account.
⏰ Critical Deadline: All flight changes (and cancellations) must be made more than one hour before the scheduled departure time. Failure to meet this deadline is considered a no-show, and all funds are forfeited.
When you change your flight using the Breeze Airways Change Flight tool, it automatically handles your ancillary purchases (add-ons) to ensure you don't lose value:
Bags, Seats, Pets: Any fees paid for extra bags, assigned seats, or pets associated with the original flight will be canceled and issued as a Flight Credit (BreezePoints) to your account.
Rebooking Add-Ons: You will need to re-add these services (bags, seats, pets) to your new flight during the modification process and pay the current price for them, often using the credit you just received.
When making a flight change, you may also be changing your Bundle Type (Nice, Nicer, or Nicest) if you select a flight where a different bundle is offered.

Note: Fare-type upgrades (e.g., upgrading from Nice to Nicer) are generally not available for the same flight or same-day flight changes. They are part of selecting an entirely new flight itinerary.
If your flight is changed by the airline—a common occurrence in the low-cost model—your options under the Breeze Airways Change Flight policy are significantly enhanced, depending on the severity of the change:
Change Less Than 3 Hours: You can usually accept the change or select a new flight within 14 days of your original date.
Change Over 3 Hours (Significant Disruption): You are given the option to cancel for a full refund to the original form of payment, or you can cancel for a Flight Credit valid for 5 years.
Breeze prides itself on its self-service app and Live Chat. They state they do not have a general customer service phone number. However, if you are having technical issues with the app, need to divide a multi-guest reservation to change only one person's flight, or require manual assistance for a special needs request, you will need to contact their Guest Empowerment Team.
You can reach them via:
Live Chat: Available on the website and mobile app.
Text Message: They offer a text line for direct assistance.
Email: For non-urgent inquiries.
If you have a complex situation, such as needing to coordinate multiple changes or resolve an issue involving an expired credit, specialized travel support services are often available to assist.
