This is my second, modified version of the solar system animation I made by the tutorial. In this part, I made four unique changes to my animation.
I modified the orbits of the planets to match the real-life planets' natural orbiting patterns. Specifically, I changed each of the planet's orbiting speeds around the sun. For example, Mercury orbits around the sun much faster than other planets (approximately only takes 59 days for Mercury to make a full rotation), so I increased its speed to rotate by 1440 in my second animation to match the orbit pattern, and for all the other planets.
2. I changed the tilts of the planets' orbits so that they would not orbit the sun in a straight line because that's now how the planets in real life move. I did this by selecting each of the planet groups and using the rotate tool to tilt its rotation orbit either up or down.
3. I added orbiting moons to each of the planets. Some planets with 2 moons to align with the number of moons of the real-life planets
4. I added colors to all of the planet models by their respective real-life textures by assigning each planet new material and using the lambert feature to provide each planet and moon their respective texture images. Images were found online via Google. I also added a starry background to the second animation using an image plane and uploading a starry sky texture.

This is the chest reference image I found on and used for my Maya Chest model. I went for an old oak wood design with decorated gold buttons and bronze braces, along with a flower pedal-shaped bronze padlock.
Here are more angles of the treasure chest.

In this animation, a ball is having a little stroll (or bounce) in a large bedroom. As it passes a pair of socks, items that have never been seen before by the ball, it lowers its bounce height to stop and see what the items, with a question mark above it to express its curiosity and confusion. He then bounces over towards the socks and stops right in front of them. Curious to know what these foreign objects were, he decided to take a sniff test. But before doing so, he makes sure the coast is clear and no one is watching so they don't perceive him as some weirdo who sniffs socks in their free time. Once he confirms he's in the clear, he bends down and takes a whiff. But man, oh man, he did NOT expect socks to smell like THAT. He jumps in shock and stretches dramatically from the knockout stench, with X's over his eyes.

As the ball bounces, it squashes when it lands and stretches when it jumps up and is in the air.
Before sniffing the sock, he takes a short pause before committing the act. He looks left and right to make sure that no one is watching before sniffing the sock.
After the ball smells the sock, its face stretches up in an extremely dramatic way so that it is noticed by the viewers that he was completely shocked and boost its appeal to the audience.
The stage is set to be in a bedroom with the camera angle showing a wide angle of the bedroom showing objects like drawers and socks.
