Use the pre-order badge to indicate that your app is available for pre-order on the App Store. Once the app is released for download, be sure to replace the pre-order badge with the download badge in all of your marketing materials. For more information on making your apps available for pre-order, see Offering Your Apps for Pre-Order.

In the App Store, if an app has a Get button instead of a price, the app is free. You won't be charged for downloading a free app. Some free apps offer in-app purchases and subscriptions that you can buy. Subscriptions and in-app purchases give you access to more features, content, and more.

exact same issue on my iphone, uninstalled all suspicious apps, deleted all purchased music, but sign-in request keeps poping up every single time I start up my phone or everytime I reconnect it to wifi/data network. I have no idea where this Apple ID comes from, my device is brand new and had no pevious owner. How can I get rid of that popup ?

Just bought a new iPad and want to download apps that I use on my old iPad. However, when I go to the App Store it only lets me 'update' the apps, but as they're not on my new iPad yet there's nothing to update and no download happens either.

That option is no longer available (though tried it anyway). One of Apple's updates did away with allowing you to access the App Store via iTunes, and now you have to control apps through each device. Obviously doesn't work ........

I've since reset the iPad completely back to factory settings (and in doing so lost some of the apps that came with the iPad) mmmmm. I can see them on the App Store (my purchases), but lo and behold, I can't download them. In fact I can't download any app at all. Apparently I believe this was a bug a long time ago, though am confused to why this hasn't been fixed before shipping out a new iPad (if this is the case with mine).

Yes they're all turned on. I've checked and triple checked, and the Apple person also got me to turn them off and on more than once too. Everything is on, Credit Card is connected in case of any new app payments etc, internet is running fine, oooh I was able to purchase and download a track via iTunes ........ yet still can't download any apps at all. The just sit there and nothing happens.

I was speaking to Apple earlier and they can't resolve it either. They suggest I now take it to a different network and try again (though I can download apps on my iPhone, Mac and old iPad ok so doubt its the network). After that I've to take it into an Apple Store or authorised shop for them to help set it up.

I bought just a normal 9.7 iPad (not the Air or Pro). I'll have a look at the link thanks, though mine isn't frozen and it turns on ok. I can use the internet, email etc on it - just can't download apps. Found this thread here re similar, however I'm not getting a loop on the T&C's but am the rest of it.

Applies to iOS/iPadOS

Enroll and register your personal iPhone or iPad for work or school to access apps, Wi-Fi, and other resources. This article describes how to enroll your device using the Intune Company Portal app.

Install the Intune Company Portal app from the Apple App Store. The Company Portal app is used to enroll and manage your device, install work apps, and get IT support. The app supports devices running iOS 14.0 and later.

The iPad is a brand of iOS and iPadOS-based tablet computers that are developed by Apple Inc., first introduced on January 27, 2010. The iPad range consists of the original iPad lineup and the flagship products iPad Mini, iPad Air, and iPad Pro.

iOS' Control Center can be "pulled" down from the top right of the notch, giving access to various toggles to manage the device more quickly without having to open the Settings.[94] It is possible to manage brightness, volume, wireless connections, music player, etc. A homescreen may be made up of several pages, between which the user can swipe back and forth, one of the ways to do this is to hold down on the "dots" shown on each page and swipe left or right. To the right of the last page, the App Library lists and categorizes apps installed on the device. Apps within each category are arranged based on the frequency of their usage. In addition to a category for suggested apps, a "recent" category lists apps recently installed alongside App Clips recently accessed. Users can search for the app they want or browse them in alphabetical order.[95]

iPadOS features a multitasking system developed with more capabilities compared to iOS, with features like Slide Over and Split View that make it possible to use multiple different applications simultaneously. Double-clicking the Home Button or swiping up from the bottom of the screen and pausing will display all currently active spaces. Each space can feature a single app, or a Split View featuring two apps. The user can also swipe left or right on the Home Indicator to go between spaces at any time, or swipe left/right with four fingers.[99]

In iPadOS, while using an app, swiping up slightly from the bottom edge of the screen will summon the Dock, where apps stored within can be dragged to different areas of the current space to be opened in either Split View or Slide Over. Dragging an app to the left or right edge of the screen will create a Split View, which will allow both apps to be used side by side. The size of the two apps in Split View can be adjusted by dragging a pill-shaped icon in the center of the vertical divider and dragging the divider all the way to one side of the screen closes the respective app. If the user drags an app from the dock over the current app, it will create a floating window called Slide Over which can be dragged to either the left or right side of the screen. A Slide Over window can be hidden by swiping it off the right side of the screen, and swiping left from the right edge of the screen will restore it. Slide Over apps can also be cycled between by swiping left or right on the Home Indicator in the Slide Over window and pulling up on it will open an app switcher for Slide Over windows. A pill-shaped icon at the top of apps in Split View or Slide Over allows them to be switched in an out of Split View and Slide Over.[99]

The iPad does not employ digital rights management (DRM), but the OS prevents users from copying or transferring certain content outside of Apple's platform without authorization, such as TV shows, movies, and apps. Also, the iPad's development model requires anyone creating an app for the iPad to sign a non-disclosure agreement and pay for a developer subscription. Critics argue Apple's centralized app approval process and control of the platform itself could stifle software innovation. Of particular concern to digital rights advocates is Apple's ability to remotely disable or delete apps on any iPad at any time.[100][101][102]

The iPad has several uses in the classroom,[157] and has been praised as a valuable tool for homeschooling[158][159] and distance education.[160] Soon after the iPad was released, it was reported that 81% of the top book apps were for children.[161] The iPad has also been called a revolutionary tool to help children with autism learn how to communicate and socialize more easily.[162]

An Apple computer is required to create an iOS branded app. Also, any apps submitted to the Apple App Store are reviewed by Apple. AppSheet does not and cannot guarantee that an app will pass review or be available in the App Store.

Choose an app that you want to brand. For example, the Class Assignments app template is used in this example. Make sure the app has a high resolution icon that is perfectly square (check that the pixel count for height matches the pixel count for width). You will want to use an icon that is at least 1000 pixels by 1000 pixels. If the icon is not square, the branded app process will fail. You can try exporting and re-saving the icon file using a standard image editor (for example, Preview on MacOS) to make sure it is compliant.

In order to be able to test your branded app on your phone before submitting it to the app store, you first need to tell Apple which devices your application is allowed to run on in test mode. Collect all the i-devices you want your app to be able to run on before you distribute your app. For each of the devices, you need to find their UDID. You can find this using the Finder app on your mac. Connect your iDevice to your computer using a USB cable. Navigate to the Finder app and locate your device in the left hand side menu. In the 'General' tab, the UDID will be displayed in the top of the page. You can click and copy the UDID.

Now that you have all four items required to create a branded app (the two provisioning profiles, the signing identity, and the application ID), you can proceed to appsheet.com to actually create the app. Navigate your browser to the editor page of your app, go to the Manage section, navigate to the Deploy tab, and expand the Branded Apps category. You will have to configure the app using the information generated during the previous steps so that AppSheet can generate a branded app for you. 2351a5e196
