The Dussias Brain Tracking Lab is currently looking for Spanish-English speakers to participate in a language study.
Additionally, you must...
Be from Puerto Rico
Be a native speaker of Spanish
Be between the ages of 18-65
Have no history of neurological or language disorders
Have normal or corrected-to-normal vision
(i.e., glasses or contacts which are the correct prescription)
In this study, you will be asked to perform a few tasks on a computer, such as naming pictures, reading or listing words that fit in a category. The session will be in conversational English and Spanish.
In addition, you will complete a brief online questionnaire. A researcher will be with you, assisting and guiding you through all the tasks.
There will be one session of approximately one hour. In total, you will receive $15 per hour for your participation ($5 for every extra 30 minutes), plus $5 for completing the online questionnaire.
Payment will be in cash.
This study will take place in Burrowes building, room 037. If you have trouble finding the room, you can reach out to the researcher that scheduled your session.
We will work with you to schedule a time that is convenient for you.
A researcher will contact you after you submit to confirm your eligibility and schedule a time.
If you end up not qualifying for any of our studies, you will still receive $5 for completing this survey.
