Our app processes facial landmarks, head shape, and face position to enable its core functionality. Facial landmarks are used to recognize repeat scans from the same user by comparing eye distance for accuracy improvement. Head shape is used to estimate head circumference for approximate brain size estimation. Face position is used to ensure a face is present before scanning. This data is processed entirely on the user’s device in real time and is not stored persistently.
Our app utilizes TrueDepth data to improve accuracy in real-time measurements and ensuring the presence of a face before scanning. which is processed entirely on the user’s device and not stored persistently.
2. Data Sharing
No external sharing occurs. The app does not share, sell, or transmit facial data or any other personal data to third parties. All processing happens locally on the user’s device, and no cloud-based services are involved.
The facial data captured via TrueDepth API is processed entirely on-device and is not stored, transmitted, or shared with any third parties. The app does not retain this data after the app session ends.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
All data is processed in real time and is automatically deleted when the app is closed. The only files capabled of persisting when the app is closed are STL files that users purchase, which are stored locally on the user’s device. These STL files contain a non-identifiable, scaled brain model and do not include any raw biometric data. Users can manually delete these STL files at any time.
4. User Rights
Users retain full control over their data. No face data is stored beyond app usage, and STL files can be deleted by the user at any time. Since the app does not retain facial data after closure, there is no stored personal data for users to request access to or deletion of.
5. Security
Since our app does not store or transmit any personal data, there are no security risks related to user information. All processing happens locally on the device, and no external servers or databases are used.
6. Cookies & Tracking
Our app does not use cookies, analytics tools, or any tracking technologies.
