I'm Bradyn Bakker, a student at the brand new university Purdue Indianapolis, who is eagerly seeking an opportunity in the mechanical engineering space.
In my time studying here, I have developed not just the necessary knowledge for a work environment, including experience in CAD and programming, but also the soft skills necessary to be an asset on any team. I have done this through large projects that the John Martinson Honors College has allowed me to pursue. This includes projects that have taught me valuable lessons about design, as well as allowing me to take more advanced honors-level classes.
In my schooling, I have always tried to make myself stand out from those around me whether that was in high school or even now in college pushing myself to achieve high marks. I have always stood out to my professors due to my willingness to learn in the classroom and my ability to push those around me to work even harder outside the classroom. I always strive for improvement in all aspects of my life, and this is reflected in my 3.6 cumulative GPA through three semesters
This was an honors contract through the John Martinson Honors College at Purdue, that provided me with key engineering skills in design, 3D modeling, and team building.
