Days on the Danube

Why would somebody want to participate on a cruise more than once in the same city in the same section? I think I’m the only one who can answer this.

Ever since I remember I’m living in Budapest, so I have had the opportunity to know more about the city, including the Danube bank. Every morning when I went to school I tried to wake up in the sunlight reflecting from the river's water on the tram crossing the bridge. This habit has only changed to the fact that now I am going to work and for some reason (others think it is because of age) I need a lot more sunlight to wake up, so I started working on the Danube. You can think what a cool thing this is and how right you are.

I'm a waitress at a cruise company, so from morning to night, I sail around the water. Of course, I don't have time to enjoy every moment of the 75-minute journey, but let's face it, if you visit us as a guest, you won't have much chance to get me off from the podium in round numbers (of course, I always look forward to irrational challenges). So based on my 6-8 rounds per day, given my limited viewing chances, we can agree that this is equal with 2 rounds you see. You can't say I'm playing unfairly! But where does this story go? Unlimited sightseeing. This is the type of ticket the company sells on our sightseeing boats, which can be enjoyed by guests for 48 hours, ie you. The obvious question is why would anyone want a 2-day ticket, you think 1 way is enough, but not. At least not in Budapest, where you not only enjoy the beautiful views, but we also have many interesting, valuable buildings around the center, such as the Pest Vigadó, Széchenyi Square and the Chain Bridge, Margaret Bridge and Margaret Island, Batthyány Square, Matthias Church, Budavár Palace, Fisherman's Bastion, Castle Garden Bazaar, Rudas Thermal Bath, Gellért Hill and Statue of Liberty, Rock Hospital, Palace of Arts, National Theater, Whale and I could list bridges and universities, but I guess you understand what I am talking about. These places can be easily visited by a cruise, as we dock at Margaret Island and Batthyány Square, so with the unlimited ticket, you can get off at any time and return to a later round.

I would have been convinced by that, even though I have my own experience, but that is why I am writing this for you to read if you are traveling to Budapest would be a bit easier for you. (My personal favorite is the Budapest night cruise program, believe me, the city is gorgeous with the lights.)

I have one final comment to add, based on my own vacation: you can't miss your departure time! Let's face it, it's pretty easy to get lost in a foreign city, queue at a souvenir shop or just forget about time when you have a nice walk, you can worry about the other fixed-time programs, except for this.
