We are actively looking for a highly motivated Ph.D. candidate for the Sep. 2024 intake with expertise in mixed-signal/VLSI circuit design or computer architecture under the newly awarded event-based vision project. I'm an Assistant Professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) since September 2020. My research interests span various aspects of energy-efficient architecture and circuit design, including Machine Learning based hardware acceleration, neuromorphic computing processors, in-memory computing, and design automation. I received my Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2015, advised by Prof Tony Kim. Prior to joining SUTD, I was a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, working with Prof Li-Shiuan Peh (IEEE Fellow), and a staff circuit design engineer at MediaTek Singapore. I received the Distinguished Design Award at the 2023 IEEE Asian Solid-State Circuits Conference (A-SSCC), the Best Paper Award at the 2023 ACM/IEEE International Symposium on Low Power Electronics and Design (ISLPED), and the Best Paper Award at the 2014 International SoC Conference (ISOCC). I'm an IEEE senior member.
