Welcome to Contacts App!


Bounce App Creation ("us", "we", or "our") operates the "Contacts" mobile application (the "App"). 


This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Bounce App Creation  unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.


This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use the "Contacts" app. By using our app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.


1. Information Collection and Use

Contacts Information:
We access your contacts to enable you to manage, edit, and save contact information within the app.

Call Logs:
The app accesses your call logs to allow you to view and manage your recent call history.

Phone State Information:
We may access phone state information (such as incoming and outgoing call statuses) to help manage calls directly within the app.

Storage Access:
We access your device’s storage to read and write data, such as saving profile pictures and other media files related to your contacts.

Device Information:
We collect device-related data (hardware details, system settings) for crash reporting and performance improvements.

Network and Internet Access:
The app requires internet access to provide features like cloud synchronization, analytics, and display of ads.

Notification Access:
We use notifications to alert you about important updates related to the app.


2. Data Storage and Security

All contact and call log data are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or store this data on external servers. However, anonymized app usage data collected by third-party services (like Firebase) may be processed on their servers.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal data. However, no data transmission or storage system can guarantee 100% security.


3. Permissions We Use and Why

Our app requires the following permissions to provide a seamless experience while ensuring user privacy. We do not collect or share your personal data with third parties.

🔔 Notification Access

  • Purpose: To show incoming/missed call alerts and important app updates.

  • Permission: android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS


⏰ Alarm Access

  • Purpose: To set reminders like “Remind me later” for calls.

  • Permissions:

    • android.permission.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM

    • com.android.alarm.permission.SET_ALARM


📇 Contacts Access

  • Purpose: To display and manage your saved contacts. Your data stays on your device.

  • Permissions:

    • android.permission.READ_CONTACTS

    • android.permission.WRITE_CONTACTS


📞 Call Log Access

  • Purpose: To show your call history and allow editing it if needed. Your logs are not shared.

  • Permissions:

    • android.permission.READ_CALL_LOG

    • android.permission.WRITE_CALL_LOG


📲 Phone Calls

  • Purpose: To make phone calls and select the calling SIM/account.

  • Permissions:

    • android.permission.CALL_PHONE

    • android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE


🖼️ Storage Access

  • Purpose: To choose a profile picture and save/export contacts. No other data is accessed.

  • Permissions:

    • android.permission.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES

    • android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

    • android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE


🌐 Network Access

  • Purpose: To load ads, download updates, and connect to services like Firebase and AdMob.

  • Permissions:

    • android.permission.INTERNET

    • android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE


📴 Modify Phone State

  • Purpose: To clear missed call alerts from the system.

  • Permission: android.permission.MODIFY_PHONE_STATE


🌙 Wake Lock & Disable Keyguard

  • Purpose: To turn on the screen and show the call UI even if the phone is locked.

  • Permissions:

    • android.permission.WAKE_LOCK

    • android.permission.DISABLE_KEYGUARD


📱 Full Screen Notification

  • Purpose: To show full-screen caller info when you get a call and the phone is locked.

  • Permission: android.permission.USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT


🔍 WhatsApp Integration

  • Purpose: To detect WhatsApp contacts and help you quickly call or video call them.

💳 Billing Access

  • Purpose: To manage in-app purchases and subscriptions.

  • Permission: com.android.vending.BILLING


🎵 Ringtone Feature

  • Purpose: To let you set custom ringtones from your music or audio files.

  • Permissions:

    • android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

    • android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

    • android.permission.READ_MEDIA_AUDIO

    • android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS


🚫 Call Blocking & Spam Protection

  • Purpose: To block spam or specific unwanted numbers. All actions happen on your device only.

  • Permission: android.permission.BIND_SCREENING_SERVICE
    Note: The app must be set as the default call screening app.



4.Types of Data Collected :

  • Personal Data: We may ask for identifiable information like your email address and phone number.

  • Cookies and Usage Data: Anonymized data such as usage statistics may be collected to enhance the app’s functionality.


5. Third-Party Services
🔹 Google AdMob

Package: com.google.android.gms:play-services-ads
We use AdMob to show ads in the app. It may collect data like device info, location (if allowed), and how you use the app to show better ads. You can manage ad settings in your device preferences.


🔹 Firebase Analytics

Package: com.google.firebase:firebase-analytics
We use Firebase to track how the app is used and to fix bugs or crashes. This helps improve the app, and no personal information is collected.


🔹 Room Database (Room DB)

Package: androidx.room:room-runtime
We use Room to safely store your app data on your device. Your data stays private and is not shared with anyone.


🔹 SDP (Scalable DP)

Package: com.intuit.sdp:sdp-android
We use SDP to make the app layout look good on all screen sizes and devices.


🔹 Glide

Package: com.github.bumptech.glide:glide
Glide helps load and show images smoothly inside the app without slowing it down.


🔹 EventBus

Package: org.greenrobot:eventbus
EventBus is used to send data or messages inside the app quickly and easily, like between screens or features.


🔹 Alphabetic Scroller

Package: com.github.myinnos:AlphabetIndex-Fast-Scroll-RecyclerView
We use this to add a fast scroll bar for large lists, like contacts or call history, for easier navigation.


🔹 SimpleCropView

Package: com.isseiaoki:simplecropview
This is used to crop profile pictures that users select, for better user experience.


🔹 String Obfuscation (Paranoid)

Package: io.michaelrocks:paranoid
We use this to hide and protect sensitive strings in the app to make it harder for hackers to read or misuse them.


🔹 Google Billing Library

Package: com.android.billingclient:billing-ktx:7.1.1
We use this to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases safely and securely.


🔹 UMP (User Messaging Platform)

Package: com.google.android.ump:user-messaging-platform:3.1.0
We show a consent message in countries like those in the EEA to comply with privacy laws (like GDPR).


🔹 RecyclerView Swipe Decorator

Package: it.xabaras.android:recyclerview-swipedecorator
This adds swipe actions like call or message on list items, making the app more user-friendly.


🔹 BlurView

Package: com.github.Dimezis:BlurView:2.0.6
We use this to add a blur effect in the background, which makes the UI look smooth and modern.


🔹 Retrofit

Package: com.squareup.retrofit2:retrofit:2.9.0
Retrofit helps us connect to online services to download wallpapers or other data securely.


🔹 Gson Converter

Package: com.squareup.retrofit2:converter-gson:2.9.0
We use this with Retrofit to convert data from the server (JSON format) into usable content in the app

6. Third-Party Analytics Services

We may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit the App. These companies may use information about your visits to the App and other websites contained in web cookies to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.


7. Data Retention and Deletion

All application data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be deleted from your device. Any data collected by third-party services is subject to their data retention policies.  


8. Cookies

The app does not directly use cookies. However, services like Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics may utilize cookies to collect data. You can manage cookie preferences via your device or browser settings. 


9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us to remove it.

  • This Privacy Policy explains our data collection practices that are applicable to any users of our App or our Services (“you” or “your”).

Exercising Your CCPA Data Protection Rights

In order to exercise any of Your rights under the CCPA, and if you are a California resident, You can email or call us or visit our "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" section or web page.

The Company will disclose and deliver the required information free of charge within 45 days of receiving Your verifiable request. The time period to provide the required information may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonable necessary and with prior notice.

Service Providers have access to Your Personal Data only to perform their tasks on Our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

  • Malware Protection: We regularly scan the App for malware to ensure it is safe for users. We recommend downloading the App only from trusted sources like the Google Play Store.

  • Network Abuse: The App does not engage in network abuse, such as unauthorized data transmission or overuse of network resources. We adhere to network usage policies to prevent any negative impact on your device.


14. International Data Transfers

Data collected through third-party services like Firebase and Google Ads may be transferred and processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA). These services comply with GDPR to protect your data.


15. Do Not Track

Our App does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals from your browser. However, third-party services such as Google Ads may comply with "Do Not Track" requests according to their own privacy policies.


16.Compliance with Legal Obligations
We may share your personal information if it's required by law or in response to legitimate requests from public authorities, such as courts or government agencies. This means that if a legal request is made or we are required by law, we may need to provide your data to the relevant authorities.

17.Third-party analytics services

The App may include links to third-party websites or services. It's important to note that we do not have control over the privacy practices or content of these third-party services. 18. Payment Terms

  • Subscriptions: We have multiple active  subscription such as monthly, weekly, yearly etc and purchase price vary from country to country, with automatic recurring payments.

  • In-App Purchases: We have multiple active  in-app purchases available to users such as remove-ads, premium-lifetime etc and purchase price vary from country to country.

  • Important Information for Users: When you purchase a subscription, the payment will be charged to your Google Pay account upon confirming the purchase.

Your subscription will automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends. Your Google Pay account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, and the renewal price will be shown.

After subscribing, you will get access to advanced features. You can manage your subscription, including turning off auto-renew, by going to your Account Settings in the app or Google Play Store after completing your purchase.

If a free trial is available, and you decide to subscribe before it ends, any unused portion of the trial will be forfeited and will not carry over to the paid subscription.

We may offer paid services within the app. For these payments, we work with trusted third-party payment processors (like Google Pay). We do not store or handle your card details. The information you provide during payment is handled securely by the payment processors, following strict security standards set by PCI-DSS. This ensures your payment data is handled safely and securely.

  • Google Play In-App Payments
