概述 - BOUEN（下稱「本應用程式」）是一款專為日語學習者設計的詞彙學習應用程式，讓使用者透過相機掃描日常生活中的日語文字，建立個人化的單字庫並進行間隔重複複習。我們重視使用者的私隱，本政策說明我們收集、使用及保護您個人資料的方式。

我們收集的資料

帳戶資料

當您使用 Google 登入或 Apple 登入註冊帳戶時，我們會收集您的電郵地址、顯示名稱及個人頭像（如適用）。

學習內容

• 您透過相機掃描或手動輸入的日語詞彙及相關資料（例如中文釋義、例句、掌握程度）

• 您建立的資料夾及複習計劃

• 您的複習記錄及學習進度

掃描相片

本應用程式使用您裝置的相機或相簿功能，掃描日語文字以進行文字辨識（OCR）。文字辨識於您的裝置上進行，辨識所得的文字內容可能會與您的帳戶資料同步儲存，惟原始相片本身不會上傳至我們的伺服器。

使用資料

我們會記錄您的應用程式使用情況（例如掃描次數、學習活躍度），以便為您提供學習進度摘要及相關功能。

Overview - BOUEN ("the App") is a Japanese vocabulary learning application designed for learners who wish to build their vocabulary from real-world context. Users can scan Japanese text using their device camera, build a personalized word library, and review using spaced repetition. We take your privacy seriously, and this policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture (if applicable).

Learning Content

• Japanese vocabulary and related data you scan or manually enter (e.g. Chinese definitions, example sentences, mastery progress)

• Folders and review plans you create

• Your review history and learning progress

Scanned Photos

The App uses your device's camera or photo library to scan Japanese text for optical character recognition (OCR). Text recognition is performed on your device; the recognized text may be synced and stored with your account data, but the original photo itself is not uploaded to our servers.

Usage Data

We record your app usage activity (e.g. number of scans, learning activity) in order to provide you with progress summaries and related features.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain core functionality (vocabulary library management, review scheduling, cross-device sync)

• To personalize your learning experience

• To send notifications reminding you to review or use the App (you may adjust or disable these in Notification Settings)

• To improve app functionality and user experience

Data Storage and Security

Your account and learning data are stored on Google Firebase servers (Firestore and Cloud Storage), protected using industry-standard encryption and access controls. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage)

• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In (account login)

• Jisho / JMdict (Japanese dictionary data, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0)

Your Rights

Children's Privacy
