Loaded up with some extra rugs, dishes, and wall paint, we drove to Ellensburg to attend Julie Huff's daughter, Elin Urion's baby shower for her twins expected the end of December or so. Julie and Chuck have moved into their new house in north Ellensburg and Elin is living in the old house with two-year-old Otto, a cutie. Elin's friends that came to the shower all seem to have babies/toddlers. It was a pleasure to stay in the new house. Sunday morning Julie and Chuck treated us to breakfast at the Palace Restaurant. On the way back to Ballard we stopped at Snoqualmie Falls and took a walk down to the river. Parking lots full. Masses of people out with their kids on mild, cloudy day with wispy clouds tangled in firs and cedars.
