2019 Christmas

Christmas Eve - Ballard: Yvonne was busy in the kitchen preparing Swedish meatballs, potatoes, cabbage, and limpa brod. Miriam arrived first, then Jen, JC, and Rosa and Ron and Lari. We missed Corrina. A great meal, fun conversation about long-ago Christmasses, exchange of small gifts, and some raucous laughter.

 Christmas Day -  Olympia: We drove down to Olympia Christmas Day to see Noah, Natasha, Morgan, and Opal and Jill who was in town from Boulder. Natasha treated us to delicious lasagna, homemade bread, and salad. We heard more about Morgan's experience at WWU, Opal's at Capital High, house projects, and family news. Laster we walked the grounds and then watched over the chickens, temporaily released from their house, protecting them from possible eagle predation.
