Spur of the moment we decided to visit our friends in Boulder to celebrate the fall equinox together. The eight of us met for dinner Friday night at California Pizza. High school kids were celebrating homecoming at the restaurant and we marveled. Sunday Tessa, Alan, Yvonne, and John drove to Estes Park and happened on their fall festival. Music, food, fun. We walked to the areial tramway and took a trip up to overlook and observe Estes Park. Then drove through the mountains south on the Peak to Peak Highway to Nederland and rode the Carousel of Happiness. Monday morning the eight of us chanted up the sun on Flagstaff and then enjoyed a breakfast feast. A slightly curious but unfazed red fox paid. Then we took the bus back to DIA and flew home to Seattle.
