2008 California Spring

We listened to Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath, going and coming, stopped at Powell's in Portland, then Monterey for a look-see, spent the morning at the National Steinbeck Center in Salinas, then on to Los Osos. We had a great time visiting Eric, Kristin, and Jackson, celebrated John's 65th (oh my!) and then Jackson's 3rd. Bob and Diane and Lauren and her friend  Dave came north for Jackson's bday and Ron came up from San Diego with Tony's pug, Ruby, for transfer back to Sarah and Samantha in Seattle.
