2006 Los Osos Napa

We stayed in Portland, visited Powell's and saw the Alvin Ailey Dance troop (John scrambling to make up for forgetting a 26th anniversary). On to Carmel, not too badly damaged by fame and wealth. On to Los Osos - to see Jackson and his parents. California cool, wet, and windy. Looked at a couple of houses E&K considering, lots of time with Jackson - and walking three very neurotic dogs. A pleasure to talk and catch up. Some beach walking - but too cold and windy. Checked out the Montaña de Oro State Park just south of Los Osos. 8000 acres, mostly unspolied, with lots of trails along the ocean. All of us to Napa and a tour of three wineries. John stayed in the car while Jackson napped. Then back to Seattle to celebrate Corrina's 24th birthday at Lola's Very nice. And back home - where spring has definitely sprung
