How to Find Your Spyder 3 Elite 4.0 Serial Number

If you have purchased a Spyder 3 Elite 4.0 monitor calibration device, you will need a serial number to activate the software and use the device. The serial number is a 16-digit code that is unique to your device and software. It is usually printed on a sticker on the back of the device or on the CD case that came with the software. However, if you have lost or misplaced your serial number, there are some ways to retrieve it.

    Method 1: Check Your Email

Depending on your Spyder software version or release, you may have activated your Spyder hardware on the Datacolor server. If so, you should have received an email from Datacolor with your serial number when you activated your device. You can search your email inbox for "Datacolor" or "Spyder" and look for the email that contains your serial number. If you still have access to that email, you can copy and paste the serial number from there.
