My name is Onir and I am an 8-year-old storyteller from California. I have always had a passion for reading and watching movies, and they have inspired me to create my own imaginative tales.
I spend a lot of time lost in my own world of imagination, coming up with characters and stories that take me and my audience on exciting adventures. I love to share my stories with others and see their reactions to the worlds I create.
Whether I am sharing my latest story with friends and family or immersing myself in a new book or movie, listening and telling stories is what I like to do.
I would like to say thank you to my Mom and Dad for encouraging me to write books, my cousins, Smera, Kiara, Lia, and Kabir for inspiring my books, and believe it or not, a burger.

SNEAK PEEK FOR THE ADVENTURES OF JOEY: BOOK 1:
It was a bright Sunday and Emma was home alone with Joey.
Emma felt sick and was lying on her bed. Joey was watching TV while dribbling his basketball on the floor.
Suddenly realizing that Emma wasn’t around him, Joey went to check in on her and saw that Emma was all wrapped up when it was a bright sunny day outside.
“Hey Emma, what’s with you and the sleeping at an odd hour?”, asked Joey
“I am not feeling very well Joey, I’m trying to take a nap” Emma responded meekly.
Joey came over to Emma and touched her forehead. “Gosh Emma, your head is HOT!” Said Joey.
“Yes, just as I thought. Looks like my temperature is high. Can you please grab me some medicine from the medicine cabinet?”
“Sure, thing Emma, be back in a minute.” Answered Joey.
As Joey was rummaging through the cabinet looking for medicine, there was a scene with a goldsmith on TV. Joey turned his attention to the TV.
The goldsmith was dipping a hot rod into a bucket filled with ice. The commentator was explaining how dipping a hot iron rod into cold water helps cool the iron rod instantly.
Joey had an idea.
If a bucket of ice-cold water could cool a hot iron rod, it sure could also cool off Emma’s hot head, right?
Joey returned to Emma’s room with a jug filled with cold water from the fridge and before Emma realized what was happening, Joey splashed it on Emma.
“WHAAAAATTTTTTTT on Earth is wrong with you, Joey?!!”
“Sorry you don’t like it Emma, but trust me, your head must be all cold now. That’s what cold water does to all hot things. I just learnt this on TV.
What are you talking about? exclaimed Emma, looking confused.
“While I was looking for your medicine, the documentary running on TV said something very interesting” explained Joey
Emma listened while she shivered in her wet clothes.
“It was showing how cold water helped cool a really hot iron rod. So, it struck me how cold water could help bring your temperature down too” confessed Joey.
Emma didn’t know if she wanted to laugh or cry but she loved her brother and chose that laughter and changing clothes would help her more.
