2026 marches along and here we are on the threshhold of Spring. This month in the Booknook we are featuring books that are literally GREEN in color and gardening books plus a sizeable collection of biographies. We have a decent amount of books about women so definitely check out our March themed book sales. There's lots of great books to browse through and buy! 😊

The second month of 2026 and we have lots of books about presidents, poetry and baking available on the tall shelf (Sasquatch) which is positioned by the desk the security guards use. It's a great way for us to spotlight themes and topics related to each month. Definitely check it out next time you're at the library.
Also, SETS and lots of them. They are on the bottom shelf and feature a variety of topics.

Happy New Year! 2026, here we are! We have lots of books about starting anew! Be inspired to try yoga or a new routine or even recipe. Lots of fresh, new topics on the Tall Shelf.

We've been stashing and storing and otherwise hoarding all the holiday and Christmas themed books for this sale. It's epic and there's stacks of great books to choose from. Plus, there's more! That's right. Updates in the shop every week, so check back as often as you can.

What cookin'? This month in the Booknook we are all about new recipes. We have our biggest and bestest cookbook sale ever! We've been storing up cookbooks since August and this month we'll be rolling 'em all out. Well, as much as we can!
Check in every Saturday with new-to-you selections to choose from. Scores of spiral and binder bound books from one donation. Those are only .50 cents each for any 2 for $1.

Hello September! The start of a new season and cooler temperatures is exciting! Last month, our sale was very successful and we had a a great month thanks to all our customers and volunteers. Thank you!

Tall Shelf
AUGUST! The summer is swifty flying by but books abound at the shop so we're celebrating with a SURPLUS sale.
Books are always a steal at $1 so stop by the downtown library and see for yourself and browse the surplus of books on the table.
If you see it, buy it because if you don't someone else will. Best to come with cash ($1s and $5s), and for sales of $5 or more you can use a credit/debit card.
July is here and full of topics for the tall shelf. The tall shelf is hard to miss and we're branching out with all sorts of topics this month. More fresh books are on display and of course for sale. All these topics are represented in the stacks too, but the tall shelf lets us spotlight even more books all month long.
Also, music lovers, we have sheet music and lots of it too, so definitely browse the stacks!
DONATIONS NEEDED: If you're doing some organizing and cleaning and want to donate puzzles, music CDs and DVDs, Fiction/Nonfiction from 2019 to 2025, that would be greatly appreciated!
Beach reads and Father's Day and Summer is full speed ahead! Lots of fresh books are on display and for sale. Ten boxes have been unpacked and absorbed into the Booknook, so make a point of checking out what's new to you to make your summer of reading as awesome as can be.
How does your garden grow? We have some great books to showcase for May's theme of gardening and home improvement. Books about decorating and design will also be featured.
Definitely stop in for a look. 😊
We're happy to accept donations on this topic as well. Gardening books are always popular.
The Bard's birthday is April 23rd, so it seems fitting to focus on Classics for the month. We have lots of classic paperbacks and some exceptional collections to add to your own library.
