Privacy Policy for Book Tracker

Book Tracker ("the app") is provided by the developer ("we", "us"). This policy
explains what information the app handles and how.
1. Information stored on your device
The app stores your library data — book titles, authors, descriptions, notes,
ratings, reading progress, and cover photos — locally on your device. We do not
have access to this data and it is not uploaded to us or any server.
2. Camera and photos
With your permission, the app uses the camera to photograph book covers. Text
recognition (OCR) runs entirely on your device using Google ML Kit. Cover images
are saved only in the app's local storage and are not transmitted to us.
3. Advertising
The app displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and
process certain information, including your device's Advertising ID, app
interaction data, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This
information is used for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. Google's

personalization and reset your Advertising ID in your device settings.
4. Notifications
With your permission, the app sends a local daily reading reminder. These
notifications are generated on your device and involve no personal data.
5. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect
personal data from children.
6. Data retention and deletion
Library data and cover photos remain on your device until you delete a book or
uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
7. Your choices
You can deny or revoke the camera and notification permissions at any time in
your device settings. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device's ads
settings.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last
updated" date above.
