Antigen tests* are rapid tests that usually produce results in 15-30 minutes. Positive results are very accurate and reliable. However, in general, antigen tests are less likely to detect the virus than PCR tests, especially when symptoms are not present. Therefore, a single negative antigen test cannot rule out infection. To be confident you do not have COVID-19, FDA recommends 2 negative antigen tests for individuals with symptoms or 3 antigen tests for those without symptoms, performed 48 hours apart. A single PCR test can be used to confirm an antigen test result.

*Self-tests, or at-home tests, are antigen tests that can be taken anywhere without having to go to a specific testing site. Read self-test package inserts thoroughly and follow the instructions closely when performing the test.

After a positive test result, you may continue to test positive for some time. Some tests, especially PCR tests, may continue to show a positive result for up to 90 days. Reinfections can occur within 90 days, which can make it hard to know if a positive test indicates a new infection. Consider consulting a healthcare provider if you have any questions or concerns about your circumstances.

Antibody tests detect antibodies that your body makes to fight the virus that causes COVID-19. Antibody tests should never be used to diagnose a current infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. An antibody test may not show if you have a current infection, because it can take 1 to 3 weeks after the infection for your body to make antibodies. Antibody tests can be used for public health surveillance or to test for conditions associated with COVID-19.

These at-home OTC COVID-19 diagnostic tests are FDA authorized for self-testing at home (or in other locations) without a prescription. Tests are available online or at local stores and you collect your own sample, perform the test, and read the result yourself without the need to send a sample to a laboratory.

With most at-home OTC COVID-19 diagnostic tests, you should repeat testing following a negative result, whether you have symptoms or not, to reduce your risk of a false negative test result. For additional information on reading and understanding your test results, see Understanding At-Home OTC COVID-19 Antigen Diagnostic Test Results.

The table below is updated regularly and lists FDA-authorized at-home OTC COVID-19 diagnostic tests, including information on expiration dates, who can use the test, links to home use instructions for each test, and other details that may help you decide what test is right for you. For additional information about each Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), see In Vitro Diagnostics EUAs: Tables of IVD EUAs.

Important Disclaimer: In reporting the results of any IAT test you take, we will mention possible interpretations that have a basis in research done (at the University of Washington, University of Virginia, Harvard University, and Yale University) with these tests. However, these Universities and the individual researchers who have contributed to this site make no claims about the validity of these suggested interpretations. If you are unprepared to encounter interpretations you might find objectionable, please do not proceed further. You may prefer to examine general information about the IAT before deciding whether or not to proceed.

The table below includes information about authorized SARS-CoV-2 antigen diagnostic tests that have been authorized individually. These emergency use authorizations (EUAs) have been issued for each individual test with certain conditions of authorization required of the manufacturer and authorized laboratories. Test attributes are listed in the "Attributes" column. For example, tests authorized for the screening of asymptomatic individuals without known exposure are listed with "screening" in the attribute column; pooling, multi-analyte, saliva, home collection, and home testing are similarly listed. Tests available without a prescription include the attribute "DTC" (for direct-to-consumer home collection tests) or "OTC" (for over-the-counter at-home tests).

Authorized EUA devices in the table below for SARS-CoV-2 antigen diagnostic tests are assigned the QKP product code. Antigen multi-analyte respiratory panel tests authorized in the table below are assigned the QMN product code.

The FDA has determined that establishing additional conditions is necessary to mitigate the potential risk of false negative results due to either decreased sensitivity or non-reactivity associated with SARS-CoV-2 viral mutations. As set forth in the September 23, 2021 letter, developers of authorized tests that are within the scope of the revision are now required to routinely monitor emerging viral mutations and their potential impact on the performance of the authorized SARS-CoV-2 test(s). If potential impacts are identified, the EUA holder must communicate with the FDA and end users about the potential risk that presence of the mutations may have on test performance. The revision also required the EUA holder to update their authorized labeling consistent with the revision letter and submit the labeling to the FDA within 3 months of September 23, 2021. By taking these steps, the FDA and the test developer can quickly act in response to the potential risks identified and, when applicable, share the findings on SARS-CoV-2 Viral Mutations: Impact on COVID-19 Tests.

On November 1, 2022, the FDA revised the authorized uses and required updates to product labeling regarding repeat, or serial, testing, for all currently authorized SARS-CoV-2 antigen tests. The revised Letter of Authorization establishes one additional Condition of Authorization and also eliminates one Condition of Authorization that is no longer needed.

This action is in response to available data about the performance of COVID-19 antigen tests showing that repeat testing after a negative COVID-19 antigen test result increases the chance of an accurate result in people with and without symptoms and could help prevent people from unknowingly spreading the SARS-CoV-2 virus to others. The FDA communicated recommendations consistent with this revision in the August 11, 2022, Safety Communication: At-Home COVID-19 Antigen Tests-Take Steps to Reduce Your Risk of False Negative.

Highly compensated employees performing office or non-manual work and paid total annual compensation of $107,432 or more (which must include at least $684* per week paid on a salary or fee basis) are exempt from the FLSA if they customarily and regularly perform at least one of the duties of an exempt executive, administrative or professional employee identified in the standard tests for exemption.

What can I do if I'm not getting the speed I pay for? If results from FAST.com and other internet speed tests (like dslreports.com or speedtest.net) often show less speed than you have paid for, you can ask your ISP about the results.

Data tests are assertions you make about your models and other resources in your dbt project (e.g. sources, seeds and snapshots). When you run dbt test, dbt will tell you if each test in your project passes or fails.

Like almost everything in dbt, data tests are SQL queries. In particular, they are select statements that seek to grab "failing" records, ones that disprove your assertion. If you assert that a column is unique in a model, the test query selects for duplicates; if you assert that a column is never null, the test seeks after nulls. If the data test returns zero failing rows, it passes, and your assertion has been validated.

The simplest way to define a data test is by writing the exact SQL that will return failing records. We call these "singular" data tests, because they're one-off assertions usable for a single purpose.

These tests are defined in .sql files, typically in your tests directory (as defined by your test-paths config). You can use Jinja (including ref and source) in the test definition, just like you can when creating models. Each .sql file contains one select statement, and it defines one data test:

The Notice of Competition is the only official document that contains detailed information about the actual tests used by EPSO for a given competition.

All notices are published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

Pending adjustments in the testing system, EPSO will be responsible only for organising the reasoning tests, but not for the competency tests. The recruiting services of the EU institutions will adapt the selection procedure of Contract Agents accordingly, and keep their relevant services informed of the applicable procedure.
