Math 251: Analytical Geometry and Calculus III
Hello. I'm Michael Bonner, I am here to help you through Analytical Geometry and Calculus III. I have worked in aerospace for over 33 years helping the US Air Force test their latest aircraft systems. Along the way, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to teach everything from Algebra to 'How GPS works'. I taught my first class for Cerro Coso Community College in the Spring of 2001 and made the switch to teaching full time in 2018. I live in Tehachapi and teach at the Ridgecrest campus and online. I also volunteer to teach some of my classes in the California City and Tehachapi prisons.

There are homework and other assignments every week. They are typically due the following Monday.

This textbook is typically used for all three semesters of Calculus

Calculator
A scientific calculator such as the TI-30XA or a graphing calculator such as the TI-84 (or phone app) is highly recommended. Students that obtain a TI-84 or equivalent may have a slight advantage with some of the homework problems. However, it is not a requirement that you obtain a graphing calculator nor will it be allowed on the exams.
A TI-84 iPhone app is available for much cheaper than the actual calculator.
