Introducing the Bon-Accord Lottery - your chance to support the bands and be in for a chance to win. Sign-up available to download below.

Entrants must be aged 16 or over. Full terms and conditions in the sign-up form.

Lottery dates

Season 3 will run from August 2024 to July 2025. Payment can be made Monthly or Annually when paying by Bank Transfer, payment by Cheque can only be accepted for an Annual Subscription or pro-rata payment if joining within the Season. Prize winners will be notified by email or by post should an email address not be available. Prize money can be made by Bank Transfer or Cheque at the winner’s request.

It's not too late to join in, simply pro-rata your entry for the remaining months or pay monthly at £3 per entry.  Just follow the instructions on the attached entry form to secure your entry into the draw.


LOTTERY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Bon-Accord Silver Band lottery is run under the license issued by Aberdeen City Council.

The lottery is open to all participants, in their name only.  No entry into the lottery can be by or on behalf of a person under the age of 16.  If a ticket is sold knowingly to, or to a party on behalf of a person under 16, they will be exempt form the competition and forfeit any prize.

A single entry willl cost £3.00 per month.  Multiple entries are accepted.

Of the proceeds from each lottery draw, approximately 50% will be used by the Bon-Accord Silver Band and approximately 50% distributed as prize money.

Payment must be made by bank transfer or recurring card payment and any delay or non-payment will result in entries being omitted.  The Bon-Accord Silver Band will not offer credit facilities to players under any circumstances whatsoever.  Where bank transfer is not available entries will be accepted by cheque or cash for annual entry only.

The Bon-Accord Silver Band will send confirmation of your lottery entry within 14 days of reciept of application.  

If cancellation of the lottery player's bank account is recieved, the player's lottery numbers will be cancelled as soon as the last play paid for has run.

A unique number will be allocated to each entry on application.  The number will be entered into the lottery.

Winning names will be selected using random generation software with two independent witnesses present.


Winners will be notified by email or by post should an email address not be available.  Prize money can be made by Bank Transfer or Cheque at the winner's request.

Winning names declared are final and the Bon-Accord Silver Band will not enter any dispute regarding their validity.

The Bon-Accord Silver Band reserves the right to use the name(s) of the winner(s) in an abbreviated form in any future mailings or promotional material.
